Every now and then I like to go for long walks or bike rides where I spend a couple hours taking pictures of random and interesting things. I think I’m drawn mostly to a composition with vibrant colors or textures. It’s not necessarily the subject matter that interests me, but the way in which colors or graphic elements interact to form a strong composition.
I think I took this to remember the color. Yellow is one of my favorite colors. It never looks the same as it does in my head.
Mondrian Homage.
It’s been a while since I went out there and shot any photos. I find myself walking around seeing things and wishing I had my camera. But on days when I actually set out with a goal I never take out the camera. It’s as if I can only do this sort of thing randomly in my life. I think I do it to get it out of my system or something.
