Not too long ago I was having a conversation with a good friend about how awesome pickling is. She had mentioned that a friend of hers was starting a blog all about pickling and I suggested it would be great to develop badges for the site for the blog contributors. The more posts they added the higher they would climb within the pickling ranks, moving from Novice Pickler to Intermediate Pickler to Expert Pickler. Over my lunch break one day I worked out a simple system for the badges. Didn’t get a chance to do the Intermediate Pickler, but you get the idea. The world needs more picklers.
