These images are two from a new series. The stories in these shots are inspired in part by southern writers. I am aiming to tell only part of a story… I want the viewer left with a curiosity and an intrigue… only an idea of what’s going on. Photography can be very suggestive because it’s only a single moment, the photographer gives the viewer a moment and the viewer has to fill in the before and after. The suggestion requires more interaction from the viewer and I like that… I never want an image to be an entire story, I always want to leave mystery… and with this project I want to leave that faint feeling like something is strange and a little off, a dark intrigue beneath the surface…
