I have recently been introduced to the work of Japanese designer/illustrator Hirofumi Kamigaki aka IC4DESIGN. I love the newspaper style illustrations blown out into entire worlds. It reminds me of Far Side in a way, and for me definitely has some nostalgic nods to Where’s Waldo. I’m sure there are much more astute connections that relate to a vast and amazing tradition of Japanese Illustration, but my western mind is not as versed in that hemisphere. Anyway, I love his work and the ridiculous detail that goes into it. I only wish that i could see it large so i could get lost in his worlds.
