Is it too forward to say that I love this shit? Los Angeles based illustrator Kevin Dart’s A Kiss From Tokyo has been nominated as an official selection for best advertising film in the Annecy International Animated Film Festival. The short film is part of a promotional piece for his latest book Seductive Espionage , originally released in the summer of 2009. I recently purchased a limited edition prints that goes along with the book and there are so many sick versions to choose from I had a hard time picking one out.

The illustrations and concept are excellent; volcano lairs and espionage get me every time. I’ll be heading down to Comic Con this year with Wired and will be sure to catch up with Dart in person to ask him about his process.
