I am kind of stunned by this German’s work.  It strikes a balance between the surreal, the graphic, the photographic, the vintage, the modern and the dreamlike.  I am venturing a guess but it seems as if most of these are collages of both images from the real world and studio shots or sometimes one or the other.  The way Franck blends them into a new reality is fascinating.  There is something jarring about the use of space and color and it keeps you looking to try and figure out what that is; yet on a purely visual level they exhibit a surreal harmony.  To see more of Franck’s work click this.
