I recently came across the work of Christopher Lee via long time heroes Eneone, formerly of Philadelphia. He’s currently living in Burbank and works as a full-time freelance illustrator. I think what I like most about this guys stuff is the personality of his characters and the way he combines flat shapes with more organic textures.
