This should have been posted a while ago but as we have just launched I thought I’d revisit this music video by Fever Ray. At the studio we’ve been getting into a lot of video lately and are always looking for ways to create beauty and intrigue using minimal resources. This video illustrates the possibilities of a vision well executed with a bare minimum of elements in play. I love that this whole thing is shot in one location, features mainly one person and take place in the span of what seems to be only a few hours.. There’s something about the way it’s edited, the way they move the story line along and the way it builds over the period of the song that’s pull a person in really. Of course it’s also pretty strange, and a little strange can go along way if properly utilized.
